Black Lives Are Sacred Public Witness 44

May 29 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Our forty-fourth public witness in support of racial justice and the dignity of the human person is at the Oak Leaf Trail at Estabrook Park.

This is a peaceful, family-friendly event; children are encouraged to participate!

We follow CDC guidelines for masking and social distancing and expect all participants to do the same.

– At 10:00 AM we will gather briefly for prayer at the south end of Estabrook Park.

– Bring your own sign, make one using our supplies, or borrow one of ours for the hour.

– If you’re not able to stand for an hour, feel free to bring a chair!

– At 10:30 a.m., we will kneel for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in honor of George Floyd and all those affected by police violence.

We warmly welcome people of all faiths who want to stand up for the sacredness of Black lives.
