Shorewood Farmers Market
September 5, 2021 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Sunday, repeating until October 31, 2021
Shorewood is a vibrant place to live, work, and play. Our farmers market reflects that. It provides the opportunity to support and engage directly with the growers and producers of food, teach kids about the importance of our agricultural roots and nutrition, and connect with our community within and beyond the village. In addition to locally grown produce and food products, there’s weekly entertainment and activities.
2021 Location: Estabrook Park. Access the Farmers Market from the south end of Estabrook Park at 4100 Estabrook Parkway, Milwaukee, WI 53211. (MAP)
PARKING: Available at the south end of Estabrook Park at the lot near the Benjamin Church House. Enter from Capitol Drive and head North on Estabrook Parkway. The parking lot is on the East side of the street. You can also enter Estabrook from Hampton Avenue and park at the lot across from Picnic Area 6 (noted on the map above). There is additional parking on the street along N Wilson Drive with walking access points noted below.
BIKING / WALKING: If you ride your bike or walk to the Market, the best access pathways on the Oak Leaf Trail are at Olive Street, Congress Avenue and Kensington Boulevard. Be sure to look both ways when crossing the Oak Leaf Trail as many cyclists and runners will be coming from both directions.
HEALTH & SAFETY 2021:
Health and safety remain top priority this year, so the Shorewood Farmers Market will look and operate a little differently than normal. For this season, live music is delayed and we will not have face painting. We are excited to be welcoming back our Community and Sponsor Booths. For your own safety as well as the safety of other shoppers, vendors, and volunteers, please review the following:
HEALTHY MARKET SHOPPING GUIDELINES:
- Masks are appreciated
- Stay home if you’re sick
- Don’t touch products until you purchase
- Wash or sanitize hands frequently
- Maintain 6′ social distance
- No eating within 20 feet of vendors
- No dogs
- No smoking
We accept SNAP/Quest. Please stop by the main Market Booth at the south end of the market for more information.
Shorewood Farmers Market is a 501(c)3 organization operated by a volunteer board of directors made up of Shorewood residents who care about supporting growers and producers of food, growing small business and our local economy and having opportunities for our fellow residents to learn more about food and nutrition.
