Himawari
This backpack is so good that our kids are opting to use the same one from last year. Our girls each ordered one last year and love the design and quality so much they didn’t even bother looking for new bags this year. This says a lot, since getting a new backpack has always been something they look forward to. The inside compartment is spacious, has an extra protective pad for a laptop, the canvas wears well but isn’t too stiff or heavy. It also comes in a variety of colors. Win-Win!
Simple Modern
Simple Modern’s 24 oz water bottle is a top pick for the following reasons: the 2.8-inch base fits into most backpack side pockets AND car cupholders, the Ascent bottle can be ordered with a 3-lid pack so whether someone likes a straw, flip-up, or chug cap, you’re covered, and our family can attest to the double-insulated design keeping ice frozen all day. Plus, the colors are really pretty to look at and coordinate with your outfit; if that’s something you’re into.
Masks
If your children are wearing masks at school then finding a comfortable one is key. Wearing a mask all day that’s tickly, itchy, too hot, or hard to breathe through can be really distracting. I really love the Tory Burch masks but they’re sold out both online and in stores. I’ve been told by Tory Burch that their buyers have no anticipated restock date.Ā
We decided to try a few new masks that looked promising. We were looking for adjustable ear loops, a filter pocket, a two or three-layer design, and breathability. We ordered from Baggu, Slip, Vince, and Vida (their sport’s version is šš») and so far we like them all. Tory’s still our number one andĀ if you can get your hands on some, don’t hesitate. If not, the ones listed above are great long-wear options.
