 From pumpkin patches, spooky animals, fairs, and costume contests to scavenger hunts, and more….🎃 All of these are also on the calendar!

 

 

PUMPKIN PATCHES

Creekside Valley Farm
Daily from 9:00 AM-Dusk

Come and find squash of many varieties for all of your fall recipes. For Decor you will also find straw bales, indian corn, gourds and fall harvest crafts. While browsing in the barn, the children can enjoy some time in our theater room which shows a variety of fall-themed movies.
Want a fun way to explore the farm and a chance to win a Prize? Scan the Scavenger Hunt code located on the farm and explore the farm for answers.

Corn Maze/Petting Zoo/Peddle Tractors/Pumpkin Games
Come and get lost in our corn maze where you are bound to learn something as well. In order to find your way out, farm trivia questions will be your guide. The corn maze is $5.00 per visitor. Ages 3 and under are free.

For animal lovers, you can spend time exploring our farm animals. They have friendly pygmy goats, a spunky donkey, curious chickens, lovable miniature ponies and a gentle horse, growing beef cattle, beautiful peacocks, noisy turkeys, and cuddly farm cats that are known for leading visitors out of the corn maze. Peddle Tractors and swings are available for younger children free of charge. You can also play pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe and pumpkin checkers.

Barthel Fruit Farm
Daily from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Starting in early October Barthel Fruit Farm has already picked pumpkins and opens their pick-your-own pumpkin patch. They offer many different varieties of pumpkins. Some are pink, some are white, some are multi-colored, and some are warty! Many of their pumpkins are edible. Just ask a staff member to guide you in the right direction!

Bring the family out and spend time hunting through the patch for that perfect pumpkin! You can pick one or fill the back of a pick-up truck.

So much fun; it’s scary! Put on your costume, gather your friends, and join us for a ghoulishly good time. Enjoy family-friendly games, crafts, trick-or-treating, and more.

Perfect for even the littlest of ghouls. This event is toddler friendly. Bring your family for some scare-free fun to celebrate Halloween!
Each ticket includes a pumpkin to decorate with paint, glitter, gemstones, and more. You will also receive a trick-or-treat bag filled with goodies and embellishments, apple cider, and kid-friendly snacks. You can also utilize our fall-themed photo backdrop to get a perfect pic of the family.
No sharp tools are involved! You’ll be happy that you’re not doing this at home.

Species Spooktacular
Learn about some of nature’s spooky and misunderstood animals! Wear your Halloween costume to participate in a nature-themed scavenger hunt around our new ponds and along our wooded and prairie-lined trails. Go at your own pace on this self-guided adventure filled with engaging activities. At the end of the scavenger hunt, children receive a sweet treat.
Upon arrival, check-in at the Stone Bench for your scavenger hunt! This event will take place entirely outdoors, rain or shine.

Join us for a wicked witches’ night out on Silver Spring! Try a glass of our complimentary witches brew, participate in a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt to be entered into a drawing with participating merchants, and enjoy exclusive in-store promotions for those dressed in costume.

Halloween Boo Bash n’ Splash
oin us for a night of ghostly fun at our Halloween Boo Bash n’ Splash! Come see your favorite instructors as you trick or treat down changing hut lane! Don’t leave too soon because there will be other fun activities as well as open swim for the whole family to enjoy!

Halloween Scavenger Hunt
We’ve got a fun game for you that will also earn you some tasty treats! Between October 24th and 31st, come to the library for a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt. We’ll have Halloween words hidden around the library – find them all, and you’ll earn a Halloween treat bag! Just stop by the front desk to sign up and to pick up your game card.

Great Pumpkin Festival
A full festival will take place Wednesday, 10/26 through Saturday, 10/29 featuring live music along with our food vendors and beer tent. On Sunday, 10/30 and Monday 10/31, friends and neighbors can walk the park and enjoy the pumpkins on display from 6 to 9 pm nightly. No festival activities will take place on Sunday and Monday.
Residents will be able to pick up pumpkins at various times throughout the week and then return them to the park to be part of the lighted display from 6 to 9 pm nightly. There will be no pumpkin carving done on site.Friends and neighbors walk the park and enjoy the pumpkins on display.

Business Trick or Treat & Nightmare on Elm Street
Business Trick or Treat: 4pm – 6pm
Nightmare on Elm Street: 5pm – 8pm
Thiensville’s Annual Business-to-Business Trick-or-Treat will be held on Thursday, October 27th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
Children and their escorts visit participating businesses for a treat on Main Street, Freistadt Road and Green Bay Road.
Each participating business will have a yard sign in front. A list of businesses participating will be posted in advance.
After the Business Trick or Treat, join us in the Village Park from 5pm – 8pm for our Nightmare on Elm Street featuring the Dead Man’s Carnival. This very family friendly event will feature a music and fun stage show on the Port Washington State Bank Stage.
There will be music, vaudeville and circus acts, food and beverage.

Come celebrate Fall at the 3rd Annual BAYSHORE BOOgie Bash & Costume Contest! Bring your princesses, monsters, goblins, and little characters for a free and fun family-friendly event in The Yard at Bayshore. Get ready to do the costume boogie with Kids Boogie Down who will also host costume contests and award prizes at 6:00 pm! Dance with the Halloween-themed Fairytale Princesses presented by Fairytale Birthday Company, two giant Z-Bot LED Robots, and more! Enjoy laser light shows and bring your phone/camera to capture yourself in the not-so-spooky Halloween displays throughout The Yard.

Happy Halloween!! Come dressed up and groove to Thriller, the Time Warp, and snap your fingers to the Addams Family. Join us for a one-of-a-kind family yoga party!
We’ll celebrate the season with an outdoor dance party, yoga-inspired spooky story, & a Halloween craft. Wear movement clothing and bring a yoga mat or a blanket for your family to use during Senta’s flow.

Spooky Stalks Haunted Cornfield
Spooky Stalks Haunted Cornfield started as a yard haunt in 1998. After a number of years of decorating the front yard and collecting masks and other props, We started Spooky Stalks Haunted Cornfield in October 2005. We have old and new friends that volunteer their time to bring the haunt to life every year. Our common bond is the love of Halloween and the need to scare.

When you enter, you’ll find yourself trapped in The Compound where the monsters have taken over and now reside.
