Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Clean-up
Grab the kids and help Milwaukee Riverkeeper with its annual spring clean-up which occurs close to Earth Day. You can register online and select from the various clean-up sites around the greater Milwaukee Metro area. There are a couple of locations within the North Shore. Check MNSM’s calendar in February or March for more information.

Milwaukee Riverkeeper is a science-based advocacy organization working for swimmable, fishable rivers throughout the Milwaukee River Basin. The group does an incredible job of bringing awareness to the importance of having clean waterways we all depend on. They rely on local support and volunteers to successfully pull off this event each year so please volunteer a couple of hours of your time. Milwaukee Riverkeeper provides gloves, trash bags, and FREE T-SHIRTS. YOU provide the people power to pick up the interesting and sometimes bizarre trash that finds its way into our beautiful river system
